Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund logo

The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund strives to change the way society treats its children and youth. In the pursuit of its vision, and in order to ensure that the legacy of its founder, Nelson Mandela, is secured in perpetuity, the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund will:

  • Develop partnerships and initiate programmes which empower and improve the well-being of children and youth;
  • Promote the rights of children and youth through the influence of public policy and social awareness; and
  • Sustain these initiatives through the development of a sound financial and knowledge support base.

Peel Childrens Centre logo

Since 1984, Peel Children’s Centre has been helping people under the age of 18, and their families deal with mental health problems. Peel Children’s Centre is an officially approved, accredited, children’s mental health centre, based in the Region of Peel. A not-for-profit, charitable agency, it offers many excellent, creative services to more than 3,600 children, teenagers, and their families every year, confidentially and without charge.

Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation

Net proceeds from The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer will benefit The Princess Margaret, a leader in the fight against cancer and the largest institution in Canada exclusively devoted to cancer treatment, research, and education. Funding will go towards high content clinical trials such as the world class tumor bank, an advanced molecular profiling laboratory, and a drug development program. The Princess Margaret will also be able to put funds to work for other programs like cancer stem cell, cancer metabolism and microenvironment, immunotherapy, lung cancer, and prostate cancer programs.
